Mike Cavanagh
Managing Director
Mike is well known for his clear strategic and successful approach to sales, people management, & marketing. Since 2001 Mike has invested in residential rental property within NZ and has a successful working portfolio today.
In mid-2018 Mike and his business partner made a partial ownership investment in Oracle Property Management Limited and in June 2021 we purchased all remaining shares in the growing business. Mike and the Oracle team continue to grow the Residential Property Management business and have also established a Commercial division with recent success in Retail Management and Building Management.
Safeguarding value for our landlords, a positive experience, and a successful outcome are paramount considerations for Mike. “It’s all about going the extra mile and getting it right the first time. Client focused service staff who are results driven is also essential”.

Irene Bessey

When it comes to property management, Irene brings a high level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability. She is driven to succeed and do her very best for you the owner, your investment property and your tenants. Irene is across all aspects of property management with her calm, approachable manner and her attention to detail.
Her ability to make quick, practical decisions, and solve problems before they have even started makes her everyone’s MVP. Irene will always rise to the occasion and will always go the extra mile to ensure best possible outcomes for all concerned.
Whilst away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family, her friends and enjoying the great outdoors.
Karen Barnes
Property Manager
Diligent, dedicated and driven, Karen is a high-energy person with excellent time management and communication skills, which makes for an ideal property manager, where every day is different.
She has a portfolio of properties spanning the greater Auckland area, and landlords applaud her excellent and prompt communication, efficiency and first-class customer service.
Her experience working in real estate, property management, sales and hospitality has provided her with unique experience in negotiation, mediation, as well as having exceptional people skills. Having also been a graphic designer, Karen has a well-trained eye for detail.
She’s calm when under pressure and combined with a strong compassionate streak, this makes her ideal in handling difficult situations and maintaining a healthy and rewarding relationship between landlords and their tenants. Clients appreciate her approachable and bubbly personality.
In her spare time Karen loves spending time with family and friends, and enjoying time boating and deer hunting with her partner.
Julia Fong
Administrator
Julia joined Oracle Property Management in October 2022 after many years of previous client facing experience. She is dedicated to providing friendly, efficient and professional services to everyone – be it landlords, creditors or tenants.
She is responsible for day-to-day receipting and invoicing as well as providing administrative support to our amazing team of Property Managers.
